Why Apply
This award is for the demonstration of excellence in an area of interest to the community and to allow you to celebrate this. Have you or your team any examples of best practice in service delivery/enhancement, room design or team development for instance? If so tell us about it for the opportunity to be put forward for an award at the SCHOMS annual conference.
Who can be Nominated
Excellence Achievements Awards are open to all members of SCHOMS, and this extends to your team members of the member institution.
What I Need to Make a Nomination
You need to know what has been achieved and by who.
You will need to provide a written statement outlining the achievements and the impact on stakeholders.
Additional supporting quotes from stakeholders to support your nomination will also be helpful.
Commitments to SCHOMS
Available to attend the CHOMS conference.
Opportunity to present to SCHOMS membership and share your success stories that lead to the winning of the Excellence Achievement Award.
Selection Criteria
The awards for excellence will be judged on the merit of the application and the demonstration of excellence in the field.
Selection Process
Membership of the selection panel will include at least three members of the SCHOMS Exec and an independent representative. Should a member of the SCHOMS Exec submit a proposal, they will be excluded from marking their own application.
Practical Details
Be able to attend the SCHOMS Conference.
Successful nominees will support SCHOMS’ to promote the Awards scheme.
